Effective technology accommodations can give precious time back to students with dyslexia, autism, ADHD, or other learning challenges. A consultation, including a thorough assistive technology assessment, can help your child develop a system that works for them.
We offer comprehensive assessments and ongoing support
Without ongoing support and training, students are unlikely to use assistive tech, even if it helps. School staff also may need support and training to integrate new technology into their teaching and assessments.
Assistive tech tools can be a game-changer for students with dyslexia, dysgraphia, or other learning challenges. And considering AT is a required part of the IEP process under federal law. Make sure that your child can access the curriculum.
We work with students with a variety of needs:
- Dyslexia, dysgraphia and other specific learning disabilities
- ADHD or executive functioning deficits
- Autism
- Academic difficulties of any origin
Assistive Tech Consultation
This consultation consists of 3 parts:
*Pre-assessment questionnaire
*Assessment and trial session (1-3 hours)
*Written report with recommendations
Cost: $850
Assistive Tech Training
This optional service can include training for students, staff and family to facilitate complete implementation of Assistive Technology Assessment recommendations.
Cost: $150 per hour
Ongoing Assistive Tech Support
*Got a new device and now your app doesn’t work?
*Need new tools for a new challenge?
This service is for students who have been assessed by us previously.
Cost: $50 per 20 minute session
Dyslexia Tech Accommodations
Students with dyslexia often require specialized instruction in reading and writing. And that takes time. Appropriate accommodations, including assistive technology, help students access the curriculum and keep up with their school work.
